Welcome to the first-year of New York’s Empire State Golf Trail!

As you tee up your first ball, we hope you are as excited as the course owners, managers and pro-shop staffs who greet you. 2007 marks their debut year on our trails. The trails offer five regions of challenging courses that are near you and close to world-class attractions.

New York has some of the world’s finest courses. For the first year of Empire State Golf Trail, we are presenting some of the best courses in the State, from courses designed by world famous course architects like Robert Trent Jones and Donald Ross to fine tracks known for exceptional features like picture perfect Leatherstocking Golf Club in Cooperstown with stunning lake views.

Tee your way around the state. The State’s magnificent settings attract players drawn to New York’s scenic beauty, the pleasant four-season climate. As you golf your way across the state, you will be stunned by the abundance of cultural, fine dining and other recreational opportunities that you will find along the way.

Take advantage of the Empire State Golf Trail promotion. This year golf courses participating in the Empire State Golf Trail will be offering special discounts and incentives to enjoy some of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the Northeast - and more will follow. Certainly golf courses in New York State offer variety, challenge and now greater value than ever with this year’s Two for One Green Fees trail program.

No matter where you want to play, the Empire State Golf Trail is the place to start. For additional New York State travel information check out IloveNY.com  So join us please – as we tee off on the trail!
